Date Night

date night guide

Maybe it's your S.O.'s birthday or it's just a typical day, we have put together some good ideas that are easy, fun + totally doable. Check them out!

Wine + Paint night

Head to your local grocery store, pick up a good bottle of wine. Then make a quick stop at Michael's/Target and grab some acrylic paints + brushes + a pack of canvases (just in case you mess up!). You can even make this a double date or make it just the two of you. Sip + paint - cheers!

Date night draw

Get a glass or wooden jar with a handful of popsicle sticks. Get creative and write a date idea on the end of each (or write it on paper + glue it on the end). Some dates may be going to a nice dinner, craft night, or just a game + movie evening at home. You can even put a $, $$, or $$$, on the opposite of each stick if you want to pick based on affordability/mood. Mix them up + pick one out. Voilà, date night!

Pizza night

This one is a classic. Go pick out your favorite toppings and get each of you an individual dough. Throw on some pesto, sausage, cheese, pepperoni, mushroom, tomatoes, or whatever else you'd like! Make it your own while spending some QT together.

Chances are, there is somewhere within an hour or two of where you live that you have yet to explore. Do a little bit of research and write down the sights, food, coffee and shopping in the area. This is a fun little vacation getaway from the typical weekend.

Go on a picnic

Pick out your favorite cheese, salamé, bread, fruit, chocolate, and drinks.  Pack up a blanket + then head to a park, beach, or the lake for a romantic picnic.

Game Night

Put on your favorite Spotify playlist + play a friendly game of dominoes or cards. You can also invite over another couple and play spades (one of our favorites!)

Read the Bible

Pick out a passage + read it together. Then go over what it means to you + how you can apply it to your own lives.

Recreate your first date

Maybe it was a certain restaurant, a local coffee shop or an arcade. Go back there and reminisce on your first moments together.

Visit a museum

Head to the local museum or maybe one off in the city. Admire the artwork and pick out your favorite pieces. Don't forget to pack your camera for some great photo ops!

Spa Night

Unplug, light the candles, put on your pj's or robes + slippers, give each other a massage + a mani/pedi. You will feel relaxed + revived while also getting to spend wonderful time together.
