This is the “parfait” of your dreams. One you can feel 100% good about, filled with all the goodness your body (& taste buds) will absolutely love. Make it on a weekend for breakfast in bed or prep for an early work/school morning to kickstart your day.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Your favorite healthy yogurt

  • Fresh organic fruit of your choice

    • Blueberries + strawberries are a personal favorite

  • A drizzle of honey

  • 1 - 2 tsp of your favorite nut butter

    • Be sure to check for added sugars/oils on nut butters. Some brands like to sneak stuff in there. Trader Joe’s, Costco, and Whole Foods all sell awesome nut butters that you can also buy on Amazon.

  • Granola

    • You can purchase healthy granola (such as Purely Elizabeth), but it’s also really easy (and cheaper) to make your own. We found this incredibly simple and healthy granola that you can make at home:

      • Dry Ingredients

        1. 3 cups rolled oats

        2. 1 cup raw almonds, chopped

        Wet Ingredients

        1. 1/2 cup raw honey

        2. 2 teaspoons melted coconut oil

        3. 1 tablespoon cinnamon

        4. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

        Instructions

        1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

        2. Mix dry ingredients in a glass baking dish and toast them in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

        3. While the oats are toasting, combine the wet ingredients.

        4. After the oats are toasted (they should be very aromatic), drizzle the honey mixture over the oats. Stir until well combined.

        5. On a baking sheet lined with wax paper form a single layer of the oat mixture.

        6. Place the baking sheet back in the oven and turn the over OFF. this will allow the granola to finish toasting without burning. Let it sit in the oven for 5-8 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely.

  • Optional: 1 spray Vitamin D Garden of Life Spray

    • This is completely optional! We are a Washington based magazine which means lot of rainy days. Vitamin D will give you that feeling you get from the sun! Garden of Life has a vanilla Vitamin D spray that goes great with this yogurt bowl.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. For a picture-esque yogurt bowl as pictured, layer your ingredients and drizzle the honey over the top. Otherwise, just prepare everything in a bowl and go!
