Healthy Chocolate Shake
Chocolate shakes are delicious however all the sugar and dairy means it’s a once in a while treat. So, I’ve tried, tested and perfected a chocolate shake that’s gonna make you feel good while tasting excellent. You may notice a little chocolate milk in here but for good reason! Chocolate milk is excellent source of protein, healthy carbs and Vitamin D. And this shake is especially great for post-workout to help your muscles repair while keeping them lean.
CHOCOLATE SHAKE: MAKES 1 16 OUNCE SHAKE.
1 frozen organic banana
2 ice cubes
1-2 scoops chocolate protein (We recommend Tera’s Whey.)
1 tsp cacao powder
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 cup chocolate milk
1 handful frozen spinach
A dash of cinnamon
Not much to it- blend it all up and enjoy!
